Email is sent to an individual inviting them use the Subscribing organisation's services which will include a connection to Mydex as part of the offer

Subscribing organisation captures this consent either within their system or on a form.
They confirm or ask for an email address or mobile phone number.
This triggers an email or SMS invitation to an individual to connect.
If neither are available, then they would send a letter to their home address.
Customer looks at the invitation and decides to accept. They then select one of the two call to action buttons which have been embedded. The options are:

The email contains a unique one time code within it that they will use during the connection process

On completion this leaves the individual with a MydexID, a Personal Data Store (PDS) and connection to the Subscribing organisation. Data is then delivered to and from their PDS as agreed under the data sharing agreement

email /SMS / letter containes a one time code which takes them through the first time connection wizard. This allows them to approve the connection, establish the connection and receive and send data as per the data sharing agreement
Is not currently a Mydex member
The link takes the individual to the Subscribing organisation's branded registration and first time connection wizard. During the connection stage of the process they are asked to type in the one time code contained in the invitation.
On completion this leaves the individual with a MydexID, a Personal Data Store and connection to the Subscribing organisation. Data is then delivered to and from their PDS as agreed under the data sharing agreement
Is a Mydex member already
The link takes the individual to the Subscribing organisation's branded registration and first time connection wizard. This allows them to input their MydexID and password and approve the connection between the Subscribing organisation to their PDS. Data is then delivered to and from their PDS as agreed under the data sharing agreement

The app captures the information required to complete registration and achieve first time connection. The customer stays in the app throughout the process apart from the receipt of a confirmation of Mydex ID registration email. The connection is then established and approved by the customer. Thereafter data exchange will be seamless and carried out under the data sharing agreement which has just been agreed

The app presents a connection approval screen which allows the Mydex member to input their MydexID and password and approve the connection. Thereafter data exchange will be seamless and carried out under the data sharing agreement which has just been agreed
